Into the future

 I just walked through a door that took me to another dimension. I checked the date and it’s the 23 of June 3020. I’m freaking out! It’s exactly 1000 years in the future from my present time and you wouldn’t believe what I see…

 There’s hundreds of children and adults staring at phones, ipads, laptops and TVs not noticing the world that’s going on around them. I have two options. I could save their last little bits of humanity or I could just leave and let other people's lives turn into this hot mess. Not gonna lie, I was a bit hesitant. But I decided to do the right thing and save these random people's lives. Besides, their eye strain must be really bad.

 First I took their devices. They fought back but I managed. At this point they were practically holding pitchforks at me. Everybody was infuriated at me, but I knew that they’ll be thankful later. I didn’t know what to do so I just threw all of the electronics out the window. They all gathered to the window and watched the glass shatter bit by bit. Everybody was balling their eyes out. It was like somebody just died.

 I calmed them down with some deep breaths and then they pretty much acted like nothing happened. I explained how the devices were ruining their lives and suddenly they were begging for my forgiveness. I kindly accepted and I offered to give them a TV or two and they didn’t hesitate to say no. I walked into 2020 and promised to visit again. In my opinion this trip was pretty cool. Until we meet again 3020.
